For several years now, the Classima series has been a favorite of Baume & Mercier collectors who desire flexible luxury. A typical Classima fan is someone who appreciates unpretentious beauty and ageless quality. They can move
seamlessly from the boardroom to a casual lunch to a seaside vacation with their family. That said, luxury is sometimes at its best when it is understated. The Classima collection continues to grow with two additions to its collection, the Red Gold Dual Time Zone and Power Reserve Watch and the Automatic Jumping Hour Watch.
The Red Gold Dual Time Zone and Power Reserve has a rich 18k red gold 39mm case. A perfect executive watch, it is sophisticated as the red gold makes for a nice contrast against the black dial and alligator strap. It uses a Soprod 9035 movement with a Cotes de Geneve engraving and contains an oscillating weight with the trademark Phi symbol on the back of the case.
The Automatic Jumping Hour Watch has a larger 42mm case. It uses an automatic Depraz 14400 movement, also with the Cotes de Geneve motif. Softening the overall look of the watch is a finely detailed barleycorn guilloche, which is an intricate and delicate engraving on the casing. The sapphire crystal caseback is personalized with an oscillating weight and the Phi symbol. This very special watch will be issued in a limited edition of only 500 pieces.
