The stacking house located in Jongno-gu, Seoul, South Korea offers comfortable space arrangements for three generations. The residence was designed by JOHO Architecture and completed in 2014. Architects also design a special area that serves as a book storage.

The building is divided into two parts, the first floor is for the first generation, while the second floor is for the second generation, the owners and their children. This house has an attractive space structure, where the kitchen serves as a link between the family room on the first and two floors.

On the exterior side, Architects use harmony between the old and new bricks that present the temporal communication between the past and the present. The architect also makes the extended part with the new bricks for a more efficient light and air circulation. While the interior is set minimalist with white wall dominance that contrasting blend with the wooden floors and modern furniture.
